6’10″ Jess Noronha, a college student at St. Agnes College, is probably the tallest teenager in India. She enjoys playing the keyboard, or dancing, while she has passed on basketball and volleyball scholarships.
Sultan Kosen of Turkey, the world’s tallest man as reported by the Guinness Book of Records, has successfully received treatment from University of Virginia Medical Center’s Gamma Knife Clinic to stop growth. Mr. Kosen had suffered from acromegaly, which led to his great stature.

Towering head and shoulders above her own parents this giant teenager is the tallest in the world. Standing at whopping 6ft 10ins (212 cm), Malee Duangdee could still be growing. Weighing 20.5 stone the 19-year-old from eastern Thailand has suffered painful school memories of bullies and a lifetime of loneliness. Malee was diagnosed with a brain tumour, which was pressing on a nerve causing a hormone imbalance. Malee has also lost the sight in her eyes as a result. Malee needs an injection every three months to control the benign brain tumour and stop her from growing. But it’s costing the family almost 2000 GBP a time. For the time being Malee’s condition appears to be under control and her life has turned around. Malee was in The Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest girl in January, 2009.
At 7-foot-5, Mamadou Ndiaye of Brethren Christian High School in California is the tallest high school basketball player in the world. He is originally from Senegal.
