The Tall Club of Orange County is a not-for-profit social organization whose purpose is to provide a wide range of social activities for adults of above average height. We are located in Orange County, Southern California. Our activities range from social events such as monthly dances and house parties to bike riding, volleyball, and beach parties. We have fund raisers and donate to the National Marfan Foundation and also offer college scholarships.

The Golden Gate Tip Toppers (GGTT) is a non-profit social club for tall people in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. Kae Sumner Einfeldt founded the very first club for tall people in 1938. Eight years later in 1946, GGTT was born. GGTT is one of approximately 65 Tall clubs throughout California, the United States, and Internationally, all affiliated through Tall Clubs International (TCI).

Longshot Apparel was started in 2009 by three veteran marketers and longtime friends, Mark Tindall, Susan Clare and Sally Bjornsen. We are essentially one tall guy and two exasperated women tired of the dearth of well-fitting shirts for tall and well-proportioned men. At the outset, we took note that the market primarily catered to the Big-and-Tall guy and the tall, proportioned man was all but forgotten.
We believe a guy doesn’t have to be big to be tall – he should be able to wear a shirt that fits properly around his middle. We also feel strongly that a tall man should choose to roll up his sleeves because he wants to, not because he has to.
At Longshot Apparel we say: It’s time to take the Big out of the Big-and-Tall. Tall guys everywhere deserve to look great in their clothes without compromising on fit or style. Our mission is to create great-fitting, smartly-styled apparel for the fit and taller man-guys who stand from 6' to 6'10."
The company was created and is owned by 5'10" Liz Mayers. Liz was frustrated with yoga tops that constantly rode up during classes so she began searching for yoga tops and other activewear for tall women and found very little available. Though she did find a lot of tall women with the same dilemma.
