And then, she decided to go on for round 2:

What’s the difference?

Have you ever wonder why a particular pair of jeans didn’t fit you very well?

Here’s the easy-to-understand explanation on how a tall women’s jeans should be different from regular size jeans - from TallWaterJeans.com.

  1. Less waist, more hip (because hourglasses are more common than beanpoles)
  2. Longer front and back rise (so you don’t flash anyone you don’t want to)
  3. A little more room in the thigh (because most of us are women, not waifs)
  4. Longer inseam (so you can wear heels, and not worry about a little shrinkage)
  5. Wider leg openings (because taller bodies can handle a larger flare, and it’s more flattering that way)

A story on being a tall female (Chicago Tribune)

This is an article from Chicago Tribune, written by 6’3″ reporter Kristin Samuelson.

I’m 6’3″ … and, no, I don’t play basketball

“I wasn’t alone. In a recent study conducted by Wakefield Research for London-based Long Tall Sally, a female tall-fashion specialty store, 72 percent of tall women have downplayed their height in a social setting. One in 5 vertically gifted women has lied about how tall she is.”
